Phillips joins McIntyre in the Morning starting Monday

What's with all the jokes about John Phillips and Glee? Explain, please. Google reveals nada.
Perhaps Mr. McIntyre resents having Philips thrust upon him. Most complaints when this started were that McIntyre wasn't given enough time to actually entertain every hour, now he has to share with another host and that may not set well with him. As for Ms. Elmer, her style is that of KFI. If you've seen any ads for news readers at KFI you know that the ND there worships the Mervin Block style and at KFI at least its a sloppy way to do the news.

Don't know if KABC presently has a PD. Heck, they really didn't before, did they?
Whoever is the titular head of KABC would be advised to refrain from drinking the radio Kool-Aid that Nathan Baker, John Phillips, Peter Tilden have been selfishly but successfully (for them) pouring into the drinking fountains at KABC. What in the world is wrong? Why can't they (management here and Atlanta) see the disaster that KABC is now and also the potential that truly exists?
It is not funny, not informative, not serving any portion of the nation's #2 market, is not serving a purpose, not getting ratings, and I suppose it is not making money.
No one in management had the guts to listen to two random hours of John Phillips. My challenge to them not taken. Why? I guess they do not have a strong stomach.
And McIntrye? I have written here that I think Cumulus made a big mistake pulling Doug from Red Eye. I was a nightly fan. He did a great job in that role. But now?
The McIntyre Mess in the Morning is just that. And who was the brilliant person (Silver?) who enticed "Mumbles More Each Day Faster" T-Rae from KFI? Smart. Really smart.
Peter Tilden. Hmm. Is he still there? He must be as we hear his recorded commercials over the dayparts. Why is he there? What does Peter contribute to KABC, the community, the bottom line? Yes, he has powerful and rich buddies who lunch. Oh. How nice. I am impressed. Not.
I will not mention Larry Elder. Do I need to?
Local programs for talk radio can save it. Repeat: Local programs (LIVE, that is, not the baloney of taped local) can save talk radio here and elsewhere.
But management, wherever you are, don't judge the logical idea of live and local talk radio against the fare served up by the station I and others sought to emulate for years (no more): KABC. Such a terrible shame. (Note brilliant programmers: it is not the age of the commentators/hosts. It is the QUALITY - a new concept). Mad. Mad squared. At KABC. For messing and ruining a great and formerly highly respected, award winning, top rated station radio station. Now look at the schedule.
