Picked up a couple of New York stations this morning in the Providence area.

Was able to receive WXTV and WFTY around 6 AM. Both foreign language stations.
WXTV has their antenna on the Empire State Building. WFTY is out on Long Island.
I guess atmospheric conditions were very good overnight.

Those are the most distant channels I've received since TV stations went digital. Pretty cool that the picture was as crystal clear as channels from my own town. No more snow. It is rather nice.
 
its happening with radio signals as well got wcbs,whtz and most hartford stations as locals today
