I got a lot of old promo 45s with those colour dot stickers on them. Some records has multiple dots on them - one on top of another.But I miss the color dot stickers indicating the music category to be played.

I had to jump off the computer quickly on my earlier post, but I meant to put I got those from an uncle who worked in a station eons ago and gave me most of their library. I also have the clocks too.Because the colors corresponded to rotations, and if a record moved from the blue category to the yellow category, it would need a new sticker, and so on.
If you knew what radio station the record came from and could get a copy of their clock from that era, you could actually chart the record's life through its rotations at the station.
You just made me remember when I used to get hand-written memos and notes from Jacobs wen I was briefly working as operations manager for The World Chart show with him and Tom Rounds. Some of his statements needed to be translated into reality...They were easier to read at a glance than Jacobs' black and white (and occasionally) red hand-printed ones.
