Sports are aimed at men, and men like boobies. The idea of seeing them 24/7 will create an audience, no matter how base the topic as long as that topic is naked women.

You only think it is Entercom because they own the sports station here.

The guys I know make believe they like naked women! because they think other men like naked women,
but the truth is they are all stuck in the closet and have animosity to guys who have the courage to say
they like being with other guys.

women tend to like being with women. We are a **** social species. These sports commercials with the
hot guys bouncing the beers off of the rubber rugs are hilarious. They are aimed at the gay subculture that is definitely an essential part of sports (Please count how many times the cameras do a crotch shot in baseball, and how many football backsides the cameras are glued too in football season, it is SO obvious)...so the macho
posturings of Planet Mikey are reminiscent of Shakespeare..."the lady doth protesteth too much."

Guys like being with guys. Chicks like being with chicks. Heterosexuality is unnatural and sports stations ranting about it are more than unnatural, they are BORING.
 
So you're assuming that every man you know is secretly gay? or maybe you only cavort with other gay men. Either way sports radio targets hetero men 25-54 mostly. Within that group naked women are sort of a big deal. Why are we even discussing this? that does not make them sexist, just talking to their audience in a way in which they can relate. As a rule women are not a big part of the sports radio audience and if they are they understand the culture that they have entered into.
 
You would hope that a naked woman would be a 'big deal' to men 18-24. After that, you would hope that they had seen one or two and the mystery would have worn off a bit. ;)

I believe that in the above lurks a solution to global warming.

When guys are exclusively with guys and girls are exclusively with girls then the reproduction rate will drop to zero. Within two generations, the solution to overuse of resources, fossil fuel polution, all of it....will be upon us. It will take a number of decades to achieve zero as the correction of all these defects leads to longer and longer life expectancy.

Progressive legislation in The Bay State presents a shining path for all the other states in overcoming the threat to our environment!
 
Went to the link and really enjoyed it.

It also brought back a name that I have been trying to remember for some time: Harlan Ellison. He to whom Asimov once referred as "a malignant dwarf". Used to enjoy Ellison when he did guest shots on Long John Nebel's nighttime show out of WOR, "Your Station In New York". It and Jean Shepard. They boomed into coastal Massachusetts where I mis-spent my youth.
