Please Boycott the new 106.7 "the D" (Clear Channel - Detroit)

And just when I was going to organize a rally to bring back "106.7 The Fox"... ::)

Radio conglomerates could care less about protests to bring back recently-flipped stations. I won't stop you from your efforts, of course... good luck!

Clear Channel made a mistake? Last I saw, the D already has better ratings than The Beat did, plus it doesn't cannibalize 95.5. The Beat is not coming back. Sorry, but radio is a business, not a hobby.

I have to believe that 'The D' is exceeding the goals CC set for it.

Perhaps broadcasters in Detroit should note Human Numans quest for a Rhythmic CHR. He's certainly persistent in trying to make it happen.

Not at all a bad quality.

Persistent? Yes. But if this do come to fruition, then Clear Channel CAN'T be the company to do it.

Maybe Cumulus Media should revive DRQ...flip that to a Rhythmic (or Mainstream) Pop/CHR.... ::)

Like I've said before, I'd sooner expect a WJR-FM or country format on 93.1 than a revival of DRQ... someone's gotta get FM news/talk on the dial in Detroit sooner or later, or try to go after WYCD...
