Plezzz no more LENO or CONAN - THE ANSWER - NEW HOST Elisabeth Hasselbec

(By the way, did you know she is dating the guy who runs Comcast?)

Yes I did. This means he also oversees E!'s programming, which I'm sure had nothing to do with Handler getting an out-of-this-world contract for a show that only has 500,000+ viewers.

That's a stronger "in" than former jocks get for game analyst jobs.

Say what you will about Elizabeth Hasselbeck, but one thing is true: she's HOT.

I would, if ever given the chance, and so would most of you! :D
...I quote George Carlin: "and why is it, that a majority of the women against abortion are women you wouldn't want to [have sex with] in the first place?" ;D ...

Not many female comedians could make the cut hosting a Late Night talk show. Nobody is used to females in late night. It would be a culture shock. That is obstacle number one. Secondly.... Then you have to be funny if you want to compete. Even Joan Rivers had her own Late Night talk show canceled and she was pretty good.

I just [don't?] get why anyone would [watch?] Leno, O'Brien Letterman etc.. over my female choices... The current line-up of male late night hosts just plain stinks... don't want a Joan Rivers, Ellen "immoral" DeGeneres or anyone like that... What I would like to see is a lady with class host Late Night and I believe that such a program would trump all the rest.

People forget that there already IS a woman currently hosting a late-night talk show: Chelsea Handler, on E! Once the NBC/Comcast merger is completed, I would expect Chelsea to move her show from E! (partly-owned by Comcast) to NBC. (By the way, did you know she is dating the guy who runs Comcast?)

That explains a lot.

Except for it not being true. The person running Comcast is Brian Roberts, and she's not dating him.

Yes, put Elizabeth Hasselbeck in as a late night host. Make her required viewing and she would be the cure to obesity, after 1 minute of her, most people would be vomiting. Only fat, white republicans might be able to retain their cookies. People with Bulimia would no longer have to stick their fingers down their throats to make them vomit, 30 seconds of her would do the trick. I don't mind people espousing their viewpoints but when challenged on them she can't even provide facts to back herself up. I'm assuming she has lead weights in her shorts otherwise that airhead would be bouncing along the ceiling of The View studio and they'd have to reel her in like a mackerel to her what she has to say.

I have to differ with your impression of Drew. When she is on Letterman's show she is usually leading the conversation and putting him in his place. I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person and believe me, she can really hold her own if she had the opportunity to do a show.
