The afternoon anchor on WLS, otherwise a fine news anchor...but the way she says the call letters grates on me a bit! lol!
She emphasizes the first syllable DUHB'-uh l-yoo, -yoo; L; S;

If it really bothers you, then don't listen when the news comes on, tune back after the news is done.
Why, thank you! My radio didn't have that in the instructions. I thought I HAD TO listen to everything on the station all the time!
[sarcasm off!] LOL
Seriously, I just think of it as a bothersome 'tick'..and wondered if it was just me.
BTW, syndicated shows don't always mean bad radio.
I DO find John Howell at 5PM pretty listenable! ;-) I thought he was local Chicago.
