Political talk sneaking into Portland radio

Since the departure of Dave from the KINK morning show, I have noticed a clear political lean during news updates. The KINK morning show has always featured news at the top of the hour; however, it seems like they are taking a very clear lean.

I don't think that a morning show on a music radio station is the correct medium to share biases.

Nope. The Facebook page for KINK reflects many listeners who are dissatisfied with the changes that have been presented on the morning show so I do not believe that I am alone in noticing the shift.
 
Didn't Alpha have a point counterpoint with Lars and Shelia on both stations? Haven't tuned in to see if they still do that

If Shelia had her own talk show on KXL 101.1 like Lars, there would be no argument. However, I think Alpha is making a bad decision to let her continue to make commentary in the morning during the news. People who listen to music on the radio are not there for any specific political view.
 
It was replayed on both stations, with both sides offering their argument. I think Rebecca Webb also made comments during her time with Les. Kink had or still has "Kink Considers" with their PD or someone else doing commentary. I think it's existed there for several decades.

Well I always listened during at times between 10am ~ 12pm when there is nothing but music on. I have more recently been able to listen to the morning show.
