All I want to say is Power 96.1 is exactly what Atlanta needs. Everyone knows Q100 is a complete joke and Star94 is not and never has been a true CHR station... so not really sure why some people are saying ATL has enough pop stations?? Wild at 105.7/96.7 should be flipped though... Power should take it's place in the market.
And do any of you really think active rock listeners are going to be EXCITED about 96.1 flipping to Top 40? Obviously not (the comments on the Facebook page make sense - these aren't people who want to listen to top 40), but let's face it... Project wasn't anything special and wasn't pulling big numbers compared to Wild. NASCAR redneck rock music doesn't deserve to be on a such a powerful signal - sorry. Wild proved the format could be more successful in Atlanta. These trailer park folks will just have to get over it.
