President Bush to address nation tonight: ABC, CBS, NBC to carry it

As long as his address delays instead of preempts the new season premieres on CBS and NBC, I guess I won't get too bothered by this.

A rough start by NBC....after Knight Rider, everything went well into the speech but as the speech started there was double audio, a black screen and then the presidential logo with BACK UP full screen and then back to normal

Did the other networks have this problem? Considering that they get the speech from the same source, I would imagine that everyone got the problem.

at second look, it probably was a wide spread issue, as i noticed the NBC logo was still in the left corner

I suspect that it struck CBS as well. I'm watching the archived video on cbsnews.com now, and it seems like the beginning was edited ... the speech began too quickly.

It was fine on ABC, although it was not in HD as it was on the other networks.
