President Obama and Radio Reloj 870

Thanks for the info about flying over Cuba--I didn't know about that.
Regarding IBOC I totally agree with you. I used to get WABC real well, but it's very difficult now.
I will check out 570 soon as I forgot that WIND turned off their IBOC. that should definitely help.

Here in Central Mississippi, WWL is practically a local at night and we get it during the day. What we do get as a Cuban station is on 1180 AM blocking out talker WJNT in Jackson, Ms when WJNT cuts power at night. It has gotten so bad that WJNT simulcasts on a LPFM signal at 103.3 at night so their talk programs could be heard in the Jackson Metro area. I wonder whether some of you have heard the Cuban station on 1180 under WHAM at night?

I used to hear it on a regular basis when I lived in southeast Iowa. They played a lot of English language pop music, including uncensored versions of songs. The variety of music on the station was really go0d, and the signal was decent. They sounded MUCH better than most of the Cuban stations you normally hear.
