President Obama sits down with KSCA's Piolin por la manaña

After the USC rally President Obama will be in Glendale to sit down for an interview with Piolin. Is this the 1st time that a sitting President has done an in-studio Spanish language radio interview? Maybe David Eduardo who is probably meeting the President himself this afternoon can let us know. David if you met the President today maybe you can tell us about it.
 
The interview aired this morning on the Piolin morning show. Here are some highlights:

Obama compares civil rights movement to Hispanic's fight for immigration reform during an interview with Univision Radio (Piolin)

After the elections, Obama will consult with Hispanics about the Dream Act (Piolin/Univision Radio) Should it be voted before January 2011?

He said that they won't stop deporting illegal immigrants, but that most of them were "ciminals" the ones being deported.

Obama to Piolin: "i'm Presidente, not king", explaining why immigration reform didn't happen. Obama blames Republicans for lack of support

I decided to work off-site on Friday, as the logistics and security for the Presidential visit made the prospects of getting work done rather limited. It was certainly exciting to witness the efficient and complete preparation for the visit, very different from the occasions when I met Nixon and Ford in the 70's!

Coming into the country illegally is "illegal" by definition, hence any that employ such tactics to gain entrance are all criminals. Rewarding citizenship to those just based on their proximity to exploit it more easily is absurd. There are many immigrated citizens that go through the pain staking process toward citizenship (my own father, for example) that feel "reform" is pandering to the highest degree and it is a slap in the face to immigrants that play by the rules.

But dare not voice such a valid opinion or be deemed a racist. Hypocrisy at it's finest is at play here.
