Cox Radio Names Dave Clapper to dual role as Promotions/Marketing Director for WBTS-FM and WSB-FM
Atlanta, October 21, 2005 – Cox Radio (NYSE:CXR) today named Dave Clapper to the dual role of promotions/marketing director for B-98.5FM (WSB-FM) and 95-5 The Beat (WBTS-FM) in Atlanta.
“Dave’s skill and expertise at executing major station promotions made this an easy decision,” said Dan Kearney, vice president and general manager of B-98.5 FM and 95-5 The Beat. “Dave schedules as many as 20 events in a given week. He’s an excellent choice for the dual role as promotions director for both stations,” Kearney added.

Clapper has been the promotions/marketing director for 95.5 The Beat for the past three years. He began his radio career eleven years ago in Detroit. Prior to joining Cox Radio he was the regional promotions manager for MCA Records.

Cox Radio Names Will Gara Producer of the Kelly and Alpha Morning Show
On WSB-FM in Atlanta
Atlanta, October 21, 2005 – Cox Radio (NYSE: CXR) today named Will Gara producer of the Kelly and Alpha Morning Show on B-98.5 FM. Gara is best known to Kelly and Alpha’s audience as “Wildo the Prize Guy.”
“Will’s humor, passion for the station and strong understanding of our programming philosophy will make a great morning show even greater,” said Dan Kearney, Vice President and General Manager of B-98.5 FM.
“As Promotions Director I’ve always been involved with the Kelly and Alpha Morning Show in one way or another,” said Gara. “As Producer I’ll have the opportunity to get more involved with the creative aspects of a morning show,” he added.
Gara joined Cox Radio as a traffic reporter for WSB-AM in 1994. He moved to promotions with WSB-FM in 1995 where he worked as a promotions coordinator and within a year was promoted to Promotions Director.
