Professional Bull Riders Sign Agreement With CBS Sports Network

Won't this leave an awfully big hole in the Versus lineup when they become NBC Sports Network?
Seems to me bull riding is on there anytime that hockey is not.

I've seen PBR on Fox on Sunday afternoons during one of the NFL windows where CBS has the doubleheader that week.

I am assuming that the Official Beer Sponsor of PBR is......PBR? ???

The PBR, whose events have been airing nationally on Versus and NBC Sports, said it expects to announce additional television partners for select performances from the Built Ford Tough Series in the coming days.

Sources familiar with the situation indicate that NBC Sports Group will also return to the ring with a PBR package.

TBH, I think they should start phasing out the bull riding and hunting shows, as they no longer fit what should be a viable competitor to ESPN. CBSSN had to do this because they had nothing other than minor college sports and lacrosse. Still, I would look closely at how NBCSN and CBSSN do in the next few years.

Started as OLN Outdoor Life Network and was heavy with hunting programs and PBR. VS stepped up the hockey coverage. Agree with the previous post that NBC will be a competitor for ESPN therefore much of the hunting programming probably will go away. Could be a nice little niche for someone to try.

There's already a network that does that...
