Profile of BMP's Tom Castro in Today's Express-News

http://www.mysanantonio.com/business/stories/MYSA091006.1R.TomCastro.1a8de3b.html

Some highlights:

Castro believes the Hispanic radio market is misunderstood because "A lot of Hispanics don't speak very much Spanish."

Now 51, he bought into his first radio station at 25. BMP is his 4th company. His last radio company was El Dorado Communications.

BMP's stations are all in Texas now, but Castro would like to acquire stations to the west. His goal is to buy up stations in a zone "from the Mexican border to north along a line from the Oklahoma-Kansas border to Fresno, Calif."

About 20% of BMP's ad buys are from national advertisers.
