PRTV: Vintage TV Commercials, Newscasts and Performances on Youtube

This is television rather than radio, but it's still very pertaining to Puerto Rico.

Posted by Puerto Rican singer/producer Edgardo Huertas, they range from the 1960's to the early 90's. Some of them are related to the 50th Anniversary of Puerto Rican TV celebrated in 2004.

Menudo singing a Christmas song on their TV show in 1979

The lineup then consisted of: (l-r) Fernando Sallaberry, Oscar Melendez, Carlos Melendez, René Farrait and Ricky Melendez.
René was the first to replace a founding member, Neftalí Sallaberry, who "graduated" from the group earlier that year.

Sandra Zaiter singing "Habrá Un Lugar"

This was recorded on WKBM-TV/Ch 11 circa 1974. In 1975 Sandra had a swimming accident which left her permanently confined to a wheelchair. Still, that didn't stop her from continuing her career in the arts and education. She's been an example for all since then.
