Public TV pledge anchor, ‘KCTS Cooks’ host George Ray dies at 85

A Seattle TV legend is now gone, and so is a large piece of KCTS' legacy. RIP George. You will be remembered for all of those pledge drives and the dollars raised from western WA and British Columbia viewers, and those KCTS Cooks shows on Saturdays. George was still doing pledge drives up to around 2010/2011.
