Guys,
Glad to help!
I thought I'd add the ABC-AFL crews from 1961-1964:
1961:
A. Jack Buck, George Ratterman (also called the AFL Championship Game (HOU-SD))
B. Bob Neal, Elmer Angsman
C. Charlie Jones (working solo)
Lee Giroux may have also called a game solo.
1962:
A. Curt Gowdy, Paul Christman (also AFL Championship (DAL-HOU))
B. Jack Buck, George Ratterman
C. Charlie Jones (mostly solo, sometimes with Ratterman)
1963:
A. Curt Gowdy, Paul Christman (also AFL Championship (BOS-SD))
B. Jack Buck, George Ratterman
C. Charlie Jones (solo, a couple of late season games with Max Boydston)
1964:
A. Curt Gowdy, Paul Christman (with Ratterman, also AFL Championship (SD-BUF))
B. Charlie Jones, George Ratterman
C. Charlie Brockman, Elmer Angsman
(Lotta "man's!")
When NBC began televising the AFL in 1965, except for Brockman, all the ABC guys followed suit.
Charlie Jones and George Ratterman were the only two who covered the AFL on a network basis from start to finish.
Hope this is of interest. Any questions regarding vintage pro football telecasts on TV, please let me know and I will do my best to help.
