The longtime radio voice of Yale University football, Dick Galiette, has died.

He had been broadcasting Yale football on radio since 1963 (except for the years between 1987 and 1997), and his final broadcast was the October 15th game against Lehigh.

He was also a longtime sports anchor at WTNH-8 and also worked at ESPN during the network's early years.

This is a story on Galiette's death from WTNH's website. According to the story, news of the death was made public by Yale.
