R.I.P. longtime WBCN->WZLX sportscaster Paul "Tank" Sferruzza

RIP Tank,

Charles Laquidara posted a visit with him from 2016 on YouTube, he had to weigh north of 500 pounds and was on Oxygen, he has been in failing health for quite a while.

But that being said, Tank was part of WBCN when it ruled the Boston airwaves, pre consolidation, pre de-regulation, and before the bean counters took over, and it was GREAT radio, between him and "Scooter" on sports it really was the type of radio we'll never see again

What nobody on any of the various threads I have seen on FB has mentioned, was his time at V-66

here is the Charles interview with "Tank"

RIP Paul. Met him several times through a mutual acquaintance. Nice guy. More than once he had my wife laughing so hard she could hardly breathe.
