RAB Radio 1 has launched - Tune-In Details

The Bop Radio Group announces the launch of our fifth station originating from our broadcast center in Houston: RAB Radio 1 "Celebrating the First Two Decades of Rhythm & Blues!" from the years 1942-1961 available on Shoutcast.com ( direct stream http://208.53.158.48:8654 ) and also at LoudCity.com at http://loudcity.com/stations/rab-radio-1/tune_in ... we're still tweaking things with the biggest issue being do we include songs charting on the R&B charts by "white" artists?...our primary expert genre critic talked me into removing 100 songs from the playlist for the years 57-61 by Elvis, Dion, Brenda Lee, Frank Sinatra, lots of instrumentals et al that were on the R&B charts but I have mixed feelings at the moment...

Your comments and suggestions are certainly welcome.

We'll be adding some yearsings, a few more promos and, eventually, commercials!
