Nevber heard of them. Sounds like it might be a fulfillment house?

We've used RAI for about ten years now to sell unsold inventory.
They sell public service campaigns like school bus safety, don't drink and drive, etc.
Generally, we've had good results with them but we have some ground rules-
1- They sell out outer market areas only- not our central core market.
2- We get cash in advance and top of the rate card.
3- They must honor our protected client list always.
4- RAI is a house account- no sales commissions paid internally.

Over the years, they have been consistent in putting a few thousand dollars per year
on our station.

Yes- we do get the occasonal complaint about the "pushy salesman from your station that called me"
but very few problems really.

Thanks Mark...

I have two on the line for non-major accounts...... I am focusing them on the next town with lots of money and no station. We hit it well in they day and have the best AM in that town at night (though Secondary to the north end of the the 25,000 in that town)...
And bigger possibilities coming down the pike in a few months...

Thanks gang....

We used a few different compainies, including RAI (and in the 1970's) Universal Publicizers. All worked well. Then we hired a phone sales lady, cut out the middleman, and (really) made 100k annually (gross) doing it ourselves. "Felicia" the 64 year old lady worked on 30% commission and everybody was very happy.

Change the campaign every 3 weeks;
Sports Boosters
Lots of "Farm Safety" in a very ag area
local events
15 more a year

The company I work for uses them. What Mark says is exactly my experience with them.
