That's one "whatever happened to" answer I've never gotten. What happened to Jack Ryan? He was, of course, the long-time weatherman on WAKC/23's "23 Newsday", the last time I saw or heard of him in this area...

I'd assume if he's still with us these days, he's retired.

Since Jack left WAKR, he has been living happily in retirement in suburban Cincinnati near his children and grandchilden. What a nice man!

" Hi, I have the great fortune to be Jack Ryan (aka John Frances Mulcahey's) niece. Unfortunately my "Uncle Jack" passed away January 23, 2018 at the wonderful age of 93. Till the day he died he spoke so highly of his comrades at WAKR and so loved his job on the air and t.v.. Till the day he died he had the voice of a soft spoken dj. He lived his life till the fullest, was a very content man until the day he died, and I never heard him speak an ill word of anyone. He was a blessing in our family and a role model. We miss him greatly but are thankful for the richness he brought to our lives. His burial is at Heavens Gate, Montgomery, Ohio at 1:30pm. Monday January 29, 2018
