Radio Disney to be shuttered, KRDC to be sold

WGNR in Anderson, Indiana has a pending sale to Radio Punjab AM 1470 LLC, but Moody apparently hasn't found buyers for the others (WMBI Chicago, WDLM Moline IL) and so continues to operate them.
Do you think that WMBI has some sentimental value for Moody, going back so far in their heritage?

The stream which had been full operational until earlier today isn't airing anything it has the same recent songs for hours played and the actually station is still playing music on 1110 but not the iheart stream so either the stream was shut down or something.

Here is a link the applicant for 1110 AM Los Angeles is Infinity WOAZ-FM that is named as a candidate to get 1110 AM Los Angeles.
No changes yet to AM 1110. They have an Anaheim Ducks hockey game on right now, presumably due to some preemption by KLAA. The announcers keep saying, “You are listening to Anaheim Ducks Hockey on AM 1110 Radio Disney” which is not wrong. It’s actually nice to hear. The top of the hour station identification still says “Your Home for new Country, KRDC Pasadena / Los Angeles, Radio Disney Country” even though that format is long gone now. Once Disney does sell AM 1110, I wonder where the Ducks will go when KLAA AM 830 has a preemption?

Streaming through the team website or NHL.com, with games also available on SiriusXM?

No, I was listening the old-fashioned way on 1110 AM. There was a minor hiccup during the third period where, right in the middle of the game at 4:00 PM, they cut to an ESPN Sportscenter update and then to ESPN Radio network programming. It took 8 minutes for whoever was running the board to fix it and go back to the Ducks game (during which the Ducks had scored a goal to tie the game at 2). After the game was over and all the post-game coverage on KRDC, they went back to the automated “Best of Radio Disney” format. I’m not sure why the game was not on KLAA since they were just airing ESPN Radio network programming.

Check the dates on that... they are from decades ago. There is apparently an error in the way the FCC has placed that information in the hierarchy. There is no sale on record yet.

My guess is that until 710 is moved to the 1110 site, there will not be a sale and the land may be involved in that sale with a lease-back to ESPN. If I were running the two AMs for Disney, I'd dump 710 and keep 1110 for ESPN; the new 710 facility is a loudly barking dog.

According to this file Westinghouse is essentially trading or exchanging two stations for krdc and klsx Los Angeles.
It states this.
The transactions proposed in the above-captioned applications represent a like-kind exchange of
assets between Westinghouse and its subsidiary Infinity WOAZ-FM, Inc., and GLAR. Westinghouse
proposes to exchange WOAZ(FM), WBOS(FM), and WMMR(FM) for KRLA(AM) and KLSX(FM), which
are owned by GLAR. This exchange will enable Westinghouse to complete the divestiture of stations in
Boston and Philadelphia related to its earlier acquisition of Infinity Broadcasting Corporation that is required
by the terms of a consent decree between Westinghouse and the Department of Justice settling a civil
antitrust case related to the merger of Infinity and Westinghouse.

Is this wrong? Or an outdated file?
Well considering Westinghouse hasn’t existed as a radio company since the 1990’s, I think that probably answers your question right there. Westinghouse and Infinity merged back in 1996 if I recall correctly. Both Infinity and Westinghouse are no longer around so yes, it is an outdated file.

We have a failure to communicate here. I was responding to the final sentence of your post, when you asked what the Ducks' option would be after 1110 is sold and 830 needs to pre-empt a game.

Apparently Disney decided to move their content from 1110 AM to Sirius XM as Disney Hits according to this article.
