Do you think it will go off the air at midnight? Or noon tomorrow?I'm on the Santa Clarita SDR
I'm still hearing Music, But it's not Country
Maybe hearing another station that KRDC covered up while they were OTA? Or a station adjacent bleeding over? Only other 1110 AMs I could find with a current music format with enough juice to MAYBE reach Ca. would be KVTT from Mineral Wells, Texas or KFAB out of of Omaha, Nebraska but they're supposed to be news-talk.I'm on the Santa Clarita SDR

Yes, when I said "off the air" I meant the website. It was all black, Radio Disney logo up top, and links to three legal type notices. No music, no way to hit a link to play music whatsoever. On the website?
The Radio Disney stations in Latin America are basically 20-40 year old female targeted stations appealing to the A and B socioeconomic levels (upper and upper middle in most nations) with what is an AC format, mostly with English language music but Spanish language announcing). It's intended to enhance the Disney brand for the large group of women with children who might go to movies, want to visit a theme park on vacation or buy merchandise or other tie-ins.They'll sell KRDC. Radio Disney will live on in Latin America, where of course it is a different animal altogether.
And that translator has less than 200,000 persons in its 60 dbu coverage area in a market of 14 million. That yields an ugly math calculation of the percentage of the market covered. That is not a "Gremlin". It is a "Yugo".Disney bought high and sold low on their former stations. No exception here...but at least there's an FM translator paired to 11~Ten.
Seems like theyve just been playing about the same hundred songs over and over lately.![]()
Final Listen: Radio Disney - RadioInsight
If you want to hear Radio Disney before its signoff, planned for later this year, the station’s own app no longer works (in part because it was also the home of the already dark Radio Disney Country). Radio Disney’s deal with SiriusXM expired at the end of 2020. That leaves the iHeart Radio app...radioinsight.com
