On April 10, Beasley VP of Corporate Sales Bob McCurdy's departure was made under the guise of retirement. A month later, it became known that he was losing a cancer battle that involved a medical malpractice suit against three parties accused of giving McCurdy 25% of the prescribed dose of an essential chemotherapy drug. McCurdy has now lost his cancer fight.
