This from radio-info news:
Cumulus Senior VP of Programming Jan Jeffries to relocate from Atlanta to Chicago.
A surprising move for a company that's pretty centralized, but one that may’ve been made possible by the recent hiring of Mike McVay. Mike's moving from Cleveland to Atlanta to become the company’s other Senior VP of Programming, now that it's expanded by adding the Citadel stations. Robert Feder of Time Out Chicago reports the relocation by Jan Jeffries, who once programmed in Chicago at “G106” WAGO (later WCKG, "Fresh" and now the FM simulcast of WBBM-AM) and WLS-FM (94.7). Feder says “longtime staffers greeted Jeffries this week as he moved into his new digs at WLS headquarters.” At last week's RAB/NAB Radio Show, Lew Dickey described how the cloud-based Cumulus internal systems make it possible to do business almost anywhere.
