Nothing there but, even if there was, I'd be looking for the ORIGINAL artifacts. Furthermore, being a serious collector of ORIGINAL material, my offers for anything would be spectacular...starting at $100 (minimum) and perhaps reaching $1,000 for original items in extreme circumstances. (I have generally suggested that the person puts the item on ebay and I'll bid on it.) I have only ever found one from Charlotte earlier than **1966** which is totally amazing, because I have something at least as old as 1962 from almost every U.S. radio market of 100,000 or more people.
My interest would include and extend to "Top 5" or "Top 10" lists published inside local newspapers. With the exception of California, nothing (in original form) has ever been found in a newspaper farther south than Washington, D. C. However, my research has found that such articles existed in St. Petersburg, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and probably many other newspapers.
From North Carolina, I have a handful earlier than 1962:
WCNF, Weldon - 1960
WTOB Winston-Salem, WSSB Durham, WSKY Asheville - 1959.
From 1962, WRPL Charlotte.
That's it. I don't think I have anything else in all of North Carolina earlier than 1964.
I believe that I am the last surviving "serious collector" in the world.
