Radio Stations Should Play the "Minuteman Song" That's Already Played On KDWN

It's certainly been 30 years since we heard a controversal song.

The last time was 1974 when Gordon Sinclar's The Americans was embracing top 40 radio. I'm a bit surprised that radio did embrace it because it was such a controversal song but then again there was "Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks.

I doubt whether the minuteman song will be sent to radio stations like KLUC 98.5 FM or any other stations because it's not 1974 anymore.

Novelty records faded in the mid 1970's. Songs such as "The Streak" by Ray Stevens was considered novelty.
Edited by billboardmister on 08/05/05 06:46 AM.
