There lies why we won't see Rhythmic here in Detroit unless something magical happens. Cumulus won't do it because 96.3 is doing great, and you are not trying to take listeners away from them. Radio one is pretty much Urban based, so that rules them out. CBS Radio could have done it if AMP continued to struggle, but there isn't a need for them to do that now. and Clear Channel would never operate a well programmed station that had a chance to threaten 95.5(sincerely yours, 106.7 The Beat). 106.7 The D has higher ratings than 106.7 The Beat had pretty much through their entire run, their cumulative audience is higher, and this format is likely going to stick for a while. They had their chance to go Sports, and now that's not even an option, they won't be the station that challenges WYCD, so the D is here for a while.
