Radio Swing Worldwide is now streaming the hits of the 30s and 40s!

For those of you suffering from KQUE withdrawal, our newest sister station is now on the internet air, streaming the hits of the 30s and 40s from Meyerland! Radio Swing Worldwide features the music of the Big Band and Swing era, with the core format based on the years 1935-1945 with an occasional drop-in from the years 1930-1934 and 1946. Our initial playlist of 1,500 songs represents about 50% of our ultimate goal. Right now, we are mostly music but we'll be gradually adding the complete formatics which will include among other fun stuff, jingles based on the harmonies of The Andrews Sisters and the golden voices of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. We'll also be adding yearsings 4-6 times per hour similarly to what we do on our other streams.

We're still working on the website (www.RadioSwingWorldwide.com) but you can stream us right now from Shoutcast.com (under Decades / 30s / 40s and Jazz / Big Band / Swing) and LoudCity.com ... we should show up in iTunes.com within a few days.

Your comments and suggestions are certainly welcome. You can email me at [email protected] ...
