My Darlin’ Neurons,
We will post photos as we have them, but our efforts are mainly concerned with Site Improvement, so be patient and help us out if and when you can.
Thanks to your generosity, we have raised $157.80 so far. We are still short of our current $771.00 goal for licensing and hosting fees so that you, your current fans, your new fans, and everyone that appreciates good music, can download the Fevered Brain, legally. These fees may change over time but we will keep you posted on the ongoing RIAA Saga. We are even offering banner ads in exchange for contributions if you can furnish artwork similarly sized to the DAVE HANLEY banner, who generously renewed for another three months.
We are currently looking into other avenues of income generation for the site once we get the new site outfitted, so if you have any ideas or know any altruistic millionaires, let us know. But 615Music would still like your songs so email us for details.
Our friends in DROP TRIO are up for a Houston Press Award: http://www.houstonpress.com/musicshowcase/2006/musicballot06/. They are up for “Best Jazz” and they deserve it, too.
The genius of the COCKER SPANIELS (http://www.cspaniels.com/), Sean Padilla, has sold out of his first album (a rare occurrence in Indie music unless you are really, really good and a good marketer to boot), but he is making all of it available as free downloads. Visit and show him some of your generosity.
