Ramsey AM Part 15 xmtr desired for Holiday tree village

A year or so back, I had an HO-model shack and three blinking balsa-wood towers at the far end of the tree village, directional toward the center of town. The COL keeps adding culture as time goes on. One section now has a slum, suitably inhabited by winos, graffiti, police cars, and a streetwalker under a lamppost.
I **had** one of those wee Ramsey AM jobs, a 5 X 5 project board thing a pal gave me, but it went fooey.
I also had been looking for ways to make it legitimately directional, with a lobe toward the kitchen. Another pal with an EE degree suggested that some manner of variabke capacitor might work, but, alas, too late forme to try.
Where can I re-acquire one of these blowtorches? Wired, of course. Anyone here want to get rid of one or know how / if they're available?
I'll spring for a fair price, or even an investment swap in return, like some real estate in the COL village.
T.I.A !

The opening scenes of yet another Hallmark movie? 🤣

Luck to you on your search.

So, what you are saying is that you want to actually use these balsa tower models to be the antenna for the part 15 AM transmitter, as I understand your post. Well, we know that whatever frequency you use, the 9-10 foot limit on your antenna is not anywhere even close to a fraction of a wavelength. Conventional antenna design theory for the most part is all based on wavelength. I have no idea what would be the best use of 9.5' wire or how to make it radiate a stronger signal in a particular direction. I do wonder if a counterpoise (grounded or ungrounded) run under the table in the desired direction might "pull" your signal in the desired direction. Just a crazy idea. Maybe that Ramsey could be painted to look like an HO scale building and become your town's "actual radio station".
