Randy Michaels New CEO Of Tribune Companies

The Chicago Tribune reports Randy Michaels, the Buffalo native recently inducted to the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame, now has the conn.
 
WGN will sure have an all-Buffalo top management team, what with Tom Langmeyer as GM and Randy Michaels as his boss. It'll be interesting to see if they help inject the same kind of creative energy into their current market, that they had to have observed and hopefully absorbed from their time in 1970s-era Buffalo radio (an exciting time in the market's history).
