Rashan Ali, fomerly of WHTA, joins WVEE for afternoons

Congrats to Rashan Ali!!! Always been a fan of hers since the old Ryan morning show and A-Team. She is very well known over here in South Dekalb county schools for her major role in sports. HOT 107.9 has lost some good people to V-103. Ryan Cameron, Ramona Dabruex, Akini The Black Mack and now Rashan Ali are now at V-103. Cj and Mami Chula left HOT 107.9 and are now at 95.5 THE BEAT. Even though I'm a major HOT 107.9 fan, I hate to say it but they are loosing me.. :-[

Considering they are breaking the new R&B songs from Kem, Fantasia, which are core Urban AC artists during "Quiet Storm" before Majic 97.5/107.5 in addition to having the best mix of old school, classic soul and new slow jams during 10PM-2AM. It's clear they are the winners regardless. I miss Joyce Littel as well, but what can we do since practically all the CBS urbans are jockless these days during their slow jams shows?
 
I'm glad to hear that I have always liked Rashan Ali....she is a great person and jock....

Well we all knew Ryan was gonna replace Frank Ski when he signed back to V103.....wonder what Frank is gonna do

We all said that when Ryan first signed, which was 2 Frank Ski contracts ago. Not that it won't happen eventually, but I don't necessarily see Rashan's signing as real evidence. After all, Ryan had Elle Duncan until recently.

Agreed, Frank Ski will probably stay on as long as the ratings are #1 in the mornings with him and Wanda Smith, so he can continue to get paid. However, whenever they began to slip then you'll likely see him leave WVEE. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually goes to WAOK since he loves to do the community soapbox talk thing.
