Really Crummey Story in the New York Times ...

...and the only viewer will be the PD of News 92~Three, where Hip Hop used to live! No one gives a rat's rear end about where Crummey is except a bunch of dweebs into blogs and Toaster Talk programming.

It cracked me up to hear a man playing a doctor, who has an imaginary male nurse friend, and spends his life analyzing a 90 year old talk show host on chatboards calling someone else a dweeb. LOL. ;)

Crummey is supposed to start after the news, traffic and
Royal Norman's canned weather...about 4:07 I guess.

I don't know if that's real time or KFYI-BOC time. Then
there's the @#$% word delay...

Anyway, today (Monday) at 4:07 here comes a :60 PSA.
Then another :60 PSA. Then yet another :60 PSA.

Finally about 4:10-something we get Senor Pescador
introing Joe "guess where I am today" Crummey.

Hmmm, maybe the ISDN line from El Lay went down
at the last minute?

Speaking of those KFWhyEye PSAs - how come so many of them are voiced by the left wingnutjobs that the station skewers daily? At first we thought it was the Chickbosses' Inner Oprah that made her run them. Now the Nurse and I are wonderin' if the Dudeboss is watchin' 3TV weeknights at 9pm?? Peronally we'd like to hear the extended dance mix version of the Evil One's theme!

;) Joe Crummey is handsome and humble on the Joe Crummey Show ;)

Ummmmmmmmmm...I don't think Dudeboss is too leftwingnutjob...he should be working for TMISU, if you know what I mean!! ;)

They must be cloning PD's up in Utard.

December 11, 2006: Program Director Double-Play

All Access is also reporting that Kevin Grahm has been promoted to program director of KZNS "The Zone" (AM 1280). He replaces Ryan Hatch who is headed to KTAR "Newsradio 92.3" in Phoenix, where former KSL anchor Russ Hill is also stationed. Mr. Hatch will also be head-to-head with former KNRS PD Jason Wilmot, who is at crosstown KFYI Phoenix.

And some wonder why Phoenix talk radio is so whitebread!

What exactly does that mean?

whitebread (n.) conventional, predictable, unimaginative, boring. (See Pat McBland, also see cookie-cutter Limbaugh clones)

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=whitebread

Though whitebread individuals are usually white, the term is not necessarily racial in meaning - the implication lies more with the blandness, predictability, and banality of plain white bread. Accordingly, "wonderbread" is often used as a synonym.

whitebread: bruce jacobs, barry young, rush limbaugh, sean hannity, joe crummey, michael savage.

Ahh, White bread I get it.

Connie Webber, Ned Foster, Detour Dan, Aunt Carlos, Pat McBland, Ded and Heidi, Kid Stevens, Larry Gaydos, Larry King, Jim Bohannon, Michael Anthony, Paul Harvey, "Is It Raining Where You Are?" "What song gets stuck in your head?" "What are your favorite valley restaurants?" "Here's a topic for this 15 minute segment, tell me what you think, I won't express my opinion, just expect regurgitated answers from calls I solicit, wow, I get paid for this!" -- I suppose that fits pretty neatly into your definition of "white bread". Mostly old (over 50), All White folks, all predictable, all boring, all the time! That's KTAR in a nutshell. Yes, I know you're predictable response will be, "well, what about KFYI and their white hosts", great, but at least it's not predictable entirely... I know Pat McBland is going to do survey radio today where he will ask inconsequential, irrelevant to my life topics and solicit phone calls for 3 hours, much like Aunt Carlos, much like Gaydos, much like everyone else over there at Snewz 92-3.

If you're going to accuse one of being whitebread, you should accuse them all then, because frankly, talk radio in this market is pretty much all the same, KFYI is the only one that even attempts to have hosts that don't actively participate in the 1975 style of talk radio, aside from Joe Crummey who does it daily, but he's in LA, so Russ Hill doesn't consider him local even though he wins in that time slot.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity win their time slots too, but they are not local either. Where are we going?

Looks to me like national syndicated talkers. Much cheaper for the stations than actually having to provide actual local programming. But will the sheeple continue to listen?

Bumping for the mere fact that its funny, Russ Hill excoriated Joe Crummey for having the audacity to broadcast from his home in LA where he lives with his family.

But, now, he is about to give him a shift at KTAR?

Don't like something that Russ Hill believes in? Wait, he will change his mind, eventually, just for you. (kinda like his buddy Willard (Mitt) Romney.

Oh, the hypocrisy......you're soaking in it!

Merry New Years!
