Reception of WJWJ and other rimshots in Savannah...

Hey...

I'm looking at moving to Savannah (depending on job situation), and was curious about the reception of SC's NPR talker, WJWJ, which seems to have more of my type of programming rather than WSVH...Can it be picked up on a Walkman in Savannah?

Also was curious if Savannah is a decent place for DX'ing...

Anyhow, despite consolidation of radio companies, I tend to think Savannah has decent radio for its size...there are much larger markets (#58, Richmond, VA), with much more stale programming and formats...

Thanks a gazillion!

If a DJ talks into a microphone, and no one's there to listen to him, does he make a noise?</P>

With their 47kW signal and 1700' tower you should have no trouble in Savannah with a Walkman. WJWJ comes in quite clearly at my location which is about 75 miles from the tower
