REPORTS: IVI-TV SOON TO ADD ANTENNA TV & PHILADELPHIA

I'm not on Facebook, but IVI-TV is........and I was able to scroll down their messages.
Apparently they've had a lot of requests to add Antenna TV (I did my part). Someone
asked on Jan. 6th when they would add Antenna TV. On Jan. 13 IVI responded.........
IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!

On Jan. 10th someone asked when Philadelphia stations would be added. IVI responded
on Jan. 12th......WITHIN DAYS! Perhaps the Antenna TV station will be the one in
Philadelphia.

Since I signed up I have really enjoyed watching Me-TV and Me-Too from Chicago. I'm
big on classic sitcoms and westerns and they are loaded with them. IVI comes in handy
when nothing else is on or you'd just like to watch a network show at a later time.

The first month is free and then $4.99 a month. www.ivi.tv Their player is a bit fuzzy
and sometimes the signal drops, but overall I'm satisfied and would give them a B+. If
they improved the player and signal (which I believe they will).......then an A+.

I've had this service for two months now. By the end of this month we could see Philly, if those Facebook posts mean anything. After that, I would hope to see Boston or either San Fran, Wash/Balt or Buffalo/Toronto. It would be cool to be able to watch those goofy commercials in some of those small-town stations, just for a while. ;D

Beware. The commercials on WPHL-DT2/Antenna TV are unbearable. It somewhat ruins the experience with dumb infomercial like commercials. Glad I have TiVo, but still I don't want to tape everything just to see something on occasion.

I've noticed this with WCAU NBC's Nonstop channel as well.

However, WFMZ-DT3 (RTV) seems to have normal commercials, comparable to what WFMZ would program on its primary channel. RTV has a decent weekend lineup.
