Reruns of A&E "Airline" now airing on Lifetime

Last Monday Lifetime begin airing reruns of the former A&E Reality Show "Airline". The show was a look behind the scenes of day-to-day operations at Southwest Airlines. - While I think it's great they were able to get this show from their sister network, I was surprised that they edited the show and now use a female narrator. When the show had its original run on A&E they had a male narrator. For those interested Airline is airing at 11AM and 1130AM Eastern on Lifetime.

P.S. Lifetime is not the only channel that picked up reruns of shows from their sister network. (By the way I also noticed in the listings reruns of the Kirsty Alley weight loss show that was also on A&E on Lifetime's schedule). A few months ago Travel Channel began airing reruns of shows from their sister network Food Network. Some of those shows include $40 A Day with Rachael Ray, Roker on the Road (yes he had a show on Food Network), and a couple other former Food Network Shows.

I thought The Travel Channel was owned by Cox Television who brought it away from Discovery Channel. When did owners of Food Network and HGTC buy it?

As reality shows go, this was one of the better ones. The shows are somewhat dated now, and perhaps some new episodes may come from this. Espcially since these were all recorded before the "add-on" fees started. Perhaps a present version would even be more interesting.

I have to agree with you on this. In fact, this is the only reality show that I watched. The original British version is good too, I recommend it. I would love to see new episodes of this show!

With one of their most popular shows being Man vs. Food, I wouldn't be surprised if Scripps is considering moving that show over to Food Network or moving a few reruns of No Reservations over to Cooking Channel.
