^ Now, THAT playlist is FULL of classics. The Lou Gramm record went Top 10 with a bullet all over the country, it's amazing you never hear it on the radio anymore... would sound great on a station like WODS or WROR.

And THAT would be the final time we would see Milli Vanilli in the top ten of any Billboard list...
(Of course, here's why: http://articles.latimes.com/1990-11-17/entertainment/ca-4262_1_milli-vanilli)

A small pet peeve of mine: not only quoting an entire long post when it's the last post of the thread, but at the time, it was the only post of the thread! Sometimes I wish raccoonradio would reply to every thread - at least, he gets it! ;)

That Lisa Stansfield track is a great dance number, and still gets heard on Mix every now and then..Would also fit in good on Magic.

Looking at this list under today's standards of what is played on CHR Pop vs. Hot AC, and about half of the tunes here would not be played on Pop stations any more.

The Lou Gramm song would have a tough time making Kiss 108's top 10 in March 2010.

Lots of great tunes!

It's weird seeing Elton John and Phil Collins in the same lineup as Leila K "Got To Get" and Biz Markie "Just A Friend".

Great observation on your part. I was thinking just the other day... how many artists do you hear on Kiss 108 nowadays that are over the age of 30? Not many.

Just checked their Top 30. Jay-z, Train, Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland. You can count the "Over 30" artists on one hand... while many of the others are either teenagers or in their early 20s. CHR artists are definitely getting younger.
