Apparently, channel 5 carried a late movie on Friday, which bumped Merv (at the time on CBS) to Sunday.

Speaking of time-shifting and the like...

Look at 7 PM on all the CBS affils. Was Lassie collie-non-grata in New England?

I was wondering what was on at 7 :D...the listings had a few holes in it (hence all the TBAs in the listings). ???

Ever thought of checking local editions of TV Guide - or at the very least, the Boston Globe (then co-owner of what was then WKBG-56) - for your answer?

Unfortunately, I don't have any New England area TVGs from the period to check on that...I don't think there are a lot of New England papers on Google Archive either (the ones I've seen either being from ME or CT)...

I'm not home right now.... (not that anyone cares) ... but I have a Boston Herald Traveller TV guide supplement from1970... (it might be a mid-summer edition)... but I'll check it & post if relevant.

Looking at Google archives, from the Lewiston Daily Sun, WGAN in Portland (and WABI in Bangor) both carried the courageous canine on Sunday at 7 p.m.
