Was MuchMusic USA a thing yet or was this the Canadian version? I know they were pretty much the same thing when they launched and didn't really start to become separate channels until 2001 (the schedules before then remained mostly the same except they added a few original programs and obviously had to remove any MTV content aired on the Canadian version).
 
Canadian MuchMusic. It was in the clear on Anik as was the CBC(s).
