Fascinating how the ABC affiliates in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton cherry-picked some of the NBC daytime shows in lieu of the NBC affiliates running live programming produced and distributed by the AVCO corporation. Paul Dixon, Phil Donahue, and Bob Braun held court back in those days. UHF indie WXIX also pitched in. In '74, they carried the Dennis James version of "Name that Tune" from NBC, and the year after that, they picked up "Blank Check", "High Rollers", "The Magnificent Marble Machine", and, for a short period, "Somerset".
