There is no way the Joan Rivers is in center square on Hollywood Squares on this date. That's because eight days later she would begin hosting The Late Show, the first program ever aired by the Fox network. IIRC, Rivers joined the show in its second season after her bitter break-up with Fox.
 
If you had done research, you'd found that the center square was rotating until Rivers filled it permanently in season 2. Shadoe Stevens jusd did the announcing in season 1; he would become a regular panelist in season 2.
