Of course that channel 53 Waterbury was coming from West Peak in Meriden, CT. They would soon move the transmitter to the west, increase the power and become WATR-TV channel 20 and become an NBC affiliate. WNBC/WHNB/WVIT-TV channel 30 would increase their power in 1978, making the NBC affiliation on WATR-TV redundant. They would then become WTXX-TV (IND) in 1982. Today they're WCCT-TV (CW) and their transmitter is on Rattlesnake Mountain in Farmington, CT. :)

WNHC 8-ABC New Haven
6:55 Weather (Jeanne Parr)

Not long after this, Ms. Parr appeared as a contestant on the June 5, 1960 edition of What's My Line?; thereafter, she landed a job with CBS in New York, doing weather in the early years, then by the mid-1960's was a reporter with WCBS-TV in New York, closing out her career with the station with a talk show, . . . With Jeanne Parr, which ran on Channel 2 from 1975 to 1980. On March 13, 1966, she returned to WML? as a guest panelist, in the seat kept vacant after Dorothy Kilgallen's death. She is perhaps best-known these days, however, as the mother of Chris Noth (of Law & Order, Sex and the City and The Good Wife fame).
