I wouldn't be surprised, but I have a tape of a Red Sox-
Senators game from 1939 that ran only about 90 minutes.
There were no commercials; one team would make three outs,
the two teams would switch sides, and the game would go on
without a break. Baseball was originally designed to be
played in about two hours.

Hopefully, Mr. Clark got a little time to get away from

Either that, or some doctor making a talk on health.
Those were pretty common on daytime radio in the '30s,
'40s, and early '50s.
