"Operation: Entertainment," if it was carried at all by
Channel 8 that night, was delayed from Friday 8:30 PM.
I have a feeling that, like a lot of ABC affiliates, Channel 8
might have aired a movie from 7:30-9:30 on Friday nights,
delaying both "OE" and "Off To See The Wizard" (that was
certainly the case in my part of the country, where both
shows aired on delay in Atlanta, Greensboro, and Greenville, SC).

Pardon the confusion . . . too late to modify the original post, but the earlier (noon) airings were under the heading of Mike Douglas Matinee, based on some other ads from Channel 8 I've seen in past TV Guides (circa 1966).

Who exactly were the Kim Sisters? Were they some sort of a singing group?

Oh, The Kim Sisters were a singing group all right. From South Korea. Here is a clip of this group as appeared on an edition of The Hollywood Palace in the '60's. Here is a page with their biography.

(Besides, by this point the King Sisters had added enough relatives to become the King Family.)
