LOL I noticed KOVR pre-empted One Life to Live to show a second airing of To Tell the Truth at 1:30PM (first airing was at 12:30) Given that both One Life and General Hospital were 45 mins at the time, I wonder what aired between 2-2:15. A news break maybe? 15 minutes of commercials lol?

Their 45 minute stints lasted from July 26, 1976 to January 16, 1978. That evens them out, doesn't it?

Oh I meant since KOVR didn't air One Life to Live, it left a 15 minute gap before General Hospital started at 2:15. So I was wondering what KOVR did to fill the gap.

Turned out the SF Sunday Examiner & Chronicle's TV schedule (which I got much of this from) most likely made an error on KOVR's 1:30 slot with To Tell the Truth. Too bad I can't fix it again.

Oh my! No worries but that would explain the mystery lol. I knew KOVR had a history of not airing some programs as both a ABC and a CBS station so I had assumed something was amok. I did see they didn’t air All My Children until 3:30, after Edge of Night.

All My Children expanded to an hour in April 1977 a month later so I wonder how they aired that one too.

That error BTW only appeared on March 17. Every other day was correctly listed.

March 17, 1977 is the date where many PBS stations including KPBS San Diego continue with Festival '77(March 1977 Membership Pledge Campaign) which ends on Sunday March 20, 1977!! Some Great Things to See on Public TV!!!

You missed Ch. 20 & 26
There was hardly anything listed for Ch. 20 which mostly listed their Spanish programming as Spanish News, Novelas, or Movies without naming them. And there weren't any listings for Ch. 26 which was then in its infancy.

Interesting to see that as late as 1977 that Tattletales cleared in Sacramento on the NBC station and not either the CBS station or an independent. In the early 60s, our ABC station (then WLW-A Atlanta) would clear CBS morning shows and NBC's Tonight Show.

I forgot to list "News" (local) for channel 10 at 6:30 PM. We watched that just before Concentration.
