Comments: The baseball game at 11:30 p.m. on the NBC stations, does anyone know if it was it a live west coast game or if it was tape delayed?

Re: Retro: Southeastern Ohio TV Listings Saturday July 2, 1977 Afternoon & Evening

Re: your baseball question, Retrosheet.org shows both games were played at night, though no starting times are given. Night games in those days, , even if they weren't on national TV,usually started at 8 local time, so most likely they simply moved them to 8:30 Pacific to accommodate NBC. I would have assumed NBC would just skip a 'Game of the Week' due to Wimbledon.

Did NBC use BBC feed for the tennis coverage? When did NBC have its own coverage from Wimbledon?

As far as I know, NBC used its own announcer(originally Jim Simpson) at Wimbledon from the first year they covered the tournament. I'm not sure when they started using their own camera feed instead of the BBC's, though it may have been in 1979 or '80(the year they started live 'Breakfast at Wimbledon' coverage.
