Retro: This Week in TV Guide, November 30, 1963 - Kansas City Edition

This was the week following President Kennedy's funeral, and as such, schedules were in flux. Case in point: two listings for the Army-Navy game - one for the originally scheduled date, November 30, another for the date the game was actually played, December 7. The listings are similar, but for one striking difference.

Elsewhere, a profile of the angry George C. Scott, the start of the Christmas specials season, and more. As always your comments, positive or negative, are appreciated.

One historical footnote here - This was only a week (8 days to be exact) after the JFK Assassination (Which took place by all historical accounts on a FRIDAY). Given this, November 30th would've had to be on a SATURDAY instead. Are you sure this isn't the listing for November 29 as opposed to November 30th ???

Just wonderin'.....

Cheers & 73 :D
